Back on video tutorials! & Unreal Engine Panner node

August 13, 2020

Hope you are all doing well, I'm doing great on my end even tho there is not that much happening this week, I'm finally back on my little grass tutorial and going outside of my comfort zone again and re-recording as well as going back and writing a full script for it this time around.

I got a good feeling about it as of now, but the first time doing this is always going to be the slowest, so I hope that I can get quicker and quicker in doing this.

This week we have a little unplanned podcast episode for all of you out there, we wanted to talk about something but then just ended up talking about horror games and immersion. Sadly though we are going through some equipment improvements and changes so the audio on William's end is a little rough for this episode.

For this week's patreon vote we have the work of Annelien Heyninck, and this piece is so amazing! I was stunned when I saw it, and this is not only because I have studied at the same school (And I'm amazed by the work that is coming out of that place still, so props to all the students and teachers!)

But anyways, let's dive back into the work. I really like the attention to detail and the composition of this scene, it's so well done, then the balance in colors between the blue tones and the light contrasting it really nice with the orange glow of the sun.

It's a really nice scene, it's amazingly well done, so thanks for inspiring me and so many other people out there Annelien, keep it up!

All right people! That's going to do it for me for this week, I'll catch you in the next one!If you like these posts or if the tips are useful consider supporting me on Patreon and join all these other lovely people in getting access to the full Tips and Tricks compilation on: https://patreon.com/Beyondextent
