Evening People! This week has been another pretty busy one especially tiring because of the move of all the blog content, checking if all the text was correct and if all the pictures worked correctly, and I can finally call that big chunk of work done! Now I can focus more on the general layout and all the other stuff that I still need to get in order.Other then that though I have been getting more frequent request for feedback on portfolio's and for the first time I really started to feel overwhelmed by all the different platforms that people are reaching out on and caused me to miss some of them, so I'll need to see if I can do something about that somehow, if you got some suggestions leave them down in the comments!Amazing talk from the "World Content Manager" from Massive EntertainmentWe had another amazing opportunity within our studio to get a unique look into the world of game development, Chloe Hammoud, the world content manager came over to talk about the recently released Division 2 DLC "Warlords of New York". I won't be talking about this too much, but the whole look behind the veil and peeking into the development side of things is super interesting!‍,Done with blog content moveSo as mentioned before, I have finally completed the move of all the blog content! This took a really long time, mostly because there was no easy way to move the content between places because of the different ways I has them setup in Notion compared to Webflow. Now I just need to go through them and double-check them all, but this is not as bad as copy pasting and reformatting all these posts.I'm pretty happy that the rest of it was so easy to setup and allows me full customisation, which is the main thing I wanted out of this. However there is like a while new dimension that opened up, like for example how do I want people to interact with the site itself and what do I need to support that? So there is a while ton of stuff that I need to figure out, but I'm super excited to share more in the future!Also... if you got any name suggestions for this site, fire away! ;PPlanning the pillars for the websiteSo with all that stuff about the website, there is one thing I will really be focusing on in the coming period, and these are the pillars of all the resources and items I and possibly others in the future will be adding to the site. Some of the things that I am thinking about are. Paying artists for their content if they create it (Including articles), being focused on Environment Art but also on the the disciplines that come in contact with this so also including concept art and level design in related to it. These are things that I still want to play with, but I feel really strongly about too.So probably the first thing that I will be wanting to look into is finally create a course of curriculum for future mentee's to look into, but I won't be talking about that too much. This is still a long way off before there is going to be something actually coming out of this. The first step of this would be planning, but also FINALLY video production, which has been a big fear of mine, but I need to force myself out of my comfort zone if I want to make this happen, so hopefully one I get my website in a good place, I'll start looking deeper into this, but as always if this gets some traction I'll make sure to share it here.‍
