Team Challenges are our community’s way of testing your industry readiness through a simple formula: five artists, one environment, five weeks.
It’s a creative pressure cooker built to push your skills, workflows, and communication to the next level. Throughout the challenge, you’re supported by industry professionals, and your final work is presented to a panel of judges for feedback and recognition.
Build confidence with real-world source control workflows used across the gaming industry. You’ll work with Plastic SCM (now called Unity Version Control) to gain hands-on experience managing and organizing project files.
Source control is essential for keeping track of changes and storing the history of your project. It lets every team member upload their updates to a shared server, making collaboration smooth and giving the team the ability to roll back to earlier versions whenever needed.
Working in a team with different disciplines and often with people you’ve never met before is a fundamental part of our industry.
We mirror this reality through a careful selection process that brings together individuals who are a good fit, forming teams of five. Communication sits at the heart of this teamwork, ensuring everyone can collaborate effectively and deliver their best
These challenges are designed not only to push you within the five‑week timeline, but also to help you create work that reaches a strong portfolio level. We set the bar high, and throughout the program our mentors will guide you consistently to make sure you achieve that standard.
Each team is paired with its own industry mentor that we work closely with. You’ll join weekly meetings where your mentor will help you stay on track with deadlines, support team collaboration, and keep everyone accountable throughout the project.
