Evening people! This week was another nice and packed one, doing a lot of preparation for the next thing about to happen at work as well as getting an awesome workshop about how to build your own project DNA for your own projects/team/studio which was amazing, but more on that in the next section.Mike Hill Studio VisitWe had an awesome opportunity for our studio when we had Mike Hill come over to present one of his talks about building a brand DNA, but this can also be extended to building a team, project or others...The talk was amazing, with a long Q&A session to cap it off in the end and some nice chill beers afterwards. Mike Hill is an awesome person with a great presence and interesting look on life, so make sure to check out some of his talks.Preparing for GreeceOther than that I haven't spend any time on my foliage this week as I spend my time getting familiar with Affinity Publisher in preparation to be completely free from doing any work when we go for a week of vacation next week :D It was fun switching to Affinity and makes it way more powerful/easy to publish my blog compilations, weekly tips and upcoming tutorials! but more on that in the next section!,Switching to AffinityOther than that I haven't spend any time on my foliage this week as I spend my time getting familiar with Affinity Publisher, something that I desperately needed to help me out with all the stuff that I was doing for blog my blog and the upcoming tutorials. And as a test I put one of my tutorials into a new coat (found here: Glass Shaders in Unreal Engine) so I have sort of figured out the template for the future, now it will be up to me to use them.New Blog Compilation updateNow new with "NEW" flags for newly added additions, Hyperlinks and Chapters! The biggest change with switching from Photoshop to Affinity, is that I can edit text way more easy, build better templates way quicker and don't have to render out layers as frames from a video and then making a PDF out of these individual frames. So this saves me a lot of trouble!Plus, it allows me to do Hyperlinks in the compilation and much more! This is just the first iteration of these new additions though, I need to refine some of the chapter names and reorder at some point so that it makes more sense. because the Chapter called building that project is way to generic and needs to be split up.More on this in the future! So if you are interested in getting this latest update, head on over to my Patreon: Compilation Additions - Table of Contents, Hyperlinks and Newly added Tags
