Evening people!Hope you are all doing well over there, I've had a couple of interesting weeks.Personal struggles with creative focusSo it's been a while since I've been completely honest on here, but I've been feeling creatively incomplete not drained or unmotivated, but just the feeling that I'm not focusing on the right things. There is just something missing and I feel that I've deviated from the things I love to do in recent months. It's kind of a mixed bag when it comes to this feeling and I've been trying to work out what I can do to change this. I think the feeling of working from home is that I could be spending that time to work on personal work or anything linked to Beyond Extent, even tho I've not let my professional career suffer for it.And also, I've been spending so much time on trying to learn design in the completely wrong way that I felt more and more out of touch with environment art itself, which has been slowly eating away at my creative fulfilment, so after a long while thinking about it I decided to put my latest project aside for a bit and do something smaller for now (Trust me I know how this sounds too ;P)However, it's not a lack of motivation behind that latest scene that's stopping me from working on it, it's more the thought of having to design a lot of it still and not being good at that. So I just need to pull back, re-prioritise and just go back to the fun and maintain a better balance in the future. So here's to that! let's hope that I can find a better way to balance in the future, which will be forever WIP :D‍Upcoming Article about Modularity! To take it back to some more exciting and positive stuff I'm super excited about the next upcoming release for our Article with Lea Kronenberger, where she goes into a lot of details on how to build trimsheets, making modular stuff and balancing this with unique assets. I personally went through it, and this is such an awesome one! This one will be released next Monday at 20:00 (Berlin time), exciting!‍New podcast episodeYoutube: https://youtu.be/s-6jDwKd-qMSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/4a7u3v1diVflLD6Dsiqu26Google Podcasts: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9hbmNob3IuZm0vcy8yMWRmYzcwMC9wb2RjYXN0L3Jzcw?ved=2ahUKEwjT9JKAv6rqAhXF04UKHbYYBz0Q4aUDegQIARAC&hl=en-DEIn this one we come together to discus Ghosts of Tsushima's environment art and how we balance our personal and work time...It's such an amazing game, where it's almost stripped of all the essentials that are not necessary crucial to the game and the world it's trying to build in general. They really did a good job on that, and that's what we will be discussing here.‍,
