Evening People!Well this week has been a shakeup in everyone's normal life, I hope you are all doing all right and have taken the necessary precautions. Mine was not an exception, as all the news was rolling our progressively from other regions I did some prep work as well, like getting some supplies (all except toilet paper, seems like this is a scarce commodity now!) and setting up some stuff for the eventual move towards working from home. And this week that became a reality.Working from homeIt still sounds weird to me that even when typing this we made the decision to follow the social distancing ruling and technically only come out for food, so we will be staying in for a long while. So this meant that there was a lot to get in order to get all my stuff working to start working from home. It's been a weird experience but I won't lie that it is something I have always wanted to do and experience, so I see this sort of as a test both for the future of our industry and for me personally, so it's good to have that experience under my belt. I'm running into all kinds of new issues though and I think the main one is definitely switching mindset, where before I used my daily commute for that there is nothing in between my professional and personal work anymore, so I have been testing stuff like going for smaller walks after work (for as long as we still can). But it might not be a bad idea to boot up my workouts again and at least get some form of movement throughout the day.I do really miss working in a studio and being surrounded by people, how distracting it might be, and working from home has made me realise that more and more. However, there are barely any distractions when working from home, just putting on my favourite jam and start working, which is also amazing! I just need to remind myself to take smaller breaks and stretch more often!‍,Website design updateBlog page is getting close to being done, and I know that I mentioned that I would be looking to unblock myself but then when I started to work on the design some more I realised that I'm woefully unprepared to get to a final result by just doing 2D designs as knowing the limitations is not something that is part of my toolset in this fight.I'm really liking doing the design myself though, and above this section you can see a little snippet of that. There is still a ton of stuff left to do but I'm really happy with the progress already made, and to come back to the first point, there is some stuff that I have no knowledge about and which I will need to talk to someone about. but more on that in the future!
